A Whole Life Changed Through a Bible Club
Nikirthan, a 14-year-old boy, came from a poor family that struggled to make ends meet. His family had a deep connection with nature—often depending on forest resources for their livelihood.
Nikirthan was a mischievous boy who loved to play with his friends. Unfortunately, he often got into fights and did not listen to his parents or teachers.
One day, the local Children’s Bible Club leader visited Nikirthan’s school and invited the students to join the Bible Club. Nikirthan’s curiosity led him to visit, and he was amazed at what he witnessed. The Bible Club leader interacted with each of the children and helped them learn through tutoring, games, songs, and stories.
Nikirthan knew he wanted to be part of this and began attending regularly. Over time, Nikirthan got help with his schoolwork, learned good morals, and participated in Christ-centered action songs. Nikirthan particularly enjoyed playing sports, gained an interest in studying, and was fascinated by the Bible stories he heard—especially the story of Jesus healing the blind.
Eventually, Nikirthan’s attitude began changing. He stopped using vulgar words, became more cooperative with friends, and became more disciplined and respectful.
One night, Nikirthan had a severe headache. He remembered the stories of Jesus’ miraculous healing, so he decided to pray for himself. Within minutes, Nikirthan felt better and was able to sleep peacefully! This experience strengthened his faith, and Nikirthan started to believe in Jesus and the power of prayer.
Nikirthan’s life was changed because of this Bible Club and people noticed! His parents and teachers watched as he started taking his studies seriously, respected others, and even began to help with household chores.
Now, Nikirthan regularly prays for his family and even attends church—sometimes accompanied by his mother. Will you pray that Nikirthan and his family receive salvation in Jesus?
