February 2026 India Intercessor
Friends,
Last month, we got to celebrate the incredible things God did through your faithful partnership during 2025. He brought so many people out of hopelessness and desperate waiting, and it started right here: with your powerful intercession on the behalf of people across India.
Whenever I think about the power of prayer, I always think of our founder, John DeVries, and the book he wrote, called Why Pray?. In the introduction, he quotes 1 Samuel 12, a chapter about the prophet Samuel, who is trying to give some final encouragement to the people of Israel. And his encouragement is this:
To remember how God has answered their prayers in the past, and to trust that He will answer in the future. He says, “Be sure to fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you” (v. 24).
Friends, He has done such great things for His people in the US, in India, and at our organization. He has worked through your faithful prayers in miraculous ways, including bringing people out of addiction, healing broken bones and broken relationships, and even relocating construction projects!
I am so excited to see what prayers He will answer next. As you join me in intercession this month, I challenge you to remember how God has answered your prayers in the past. And as we continue to pray for India, and for our own needs, I challenge you to trust that “for the sake of his great name the Lord will not reject his people, because the Lord was pleased to make you his own” (1 Samuel 12:22).
