January 2026 India Intercessor

Friends,
In our annual Ministry Report we highlight that India is a nation of waiting. Recently, I was talking with a friend of mine in India about this, and he shared a story with me.
Some time ago, he met an elderly woman in a village, and he felt prompted to share the Gospel with her. When he finally worked up the courage, she began weeping.
Then she said, “What took you so long to come here and tell me about Jesus?”
He said, “I don’t understand.”
She told him that her husband had died in the past year, and she was broken that he never had the opportunity to hear about God’s gift of salvation.
Like this woman and her husband, millions in India are waiting to hear the Gospel. In fact, according to Joshua Project, 2,041 people groups are still waiting, making India the most unreached nation in the world. On top of that, there are so many committed believers in India who are just waiting to be sponsored so they can go and minister to those who are still unreached.
So as you join me in prayer for the new year, will you pray with me for those who are waiting?
- Pray for the Adult Literacy Teachers, Children’s Bible Club leaders, and Church Planters who are waiting to be sponsored.
- Pray for those who are still waiting to hear the Good News, that God would empower workers to reach them.
- Pray for urgency for the global church in reaching unreached people.
- Pray for our partners in the U.S. who are waiting to see the Lord move in their own lives.
And as we pray together, remember, “the Lord is good to those who wait for him” (Lamentations 3:25).
Together, for India,
