Dear Friends,
John DeVries founded Mission India with the belief that prayer is the first work of missions. And we still believe this is true today. That’s why I am so grateful for your faithful partnership in prayer!
Right now, we are in the middle of our biggest matching challenge ever. Normally, $1 sends one child to a 10-Day Children’s Bible Club, but right now, every dollar is being doubled (through December 31, 2024, up to $1 million), reaching two children with the Gospel! If we meet our goal of raising $1 million, that means 2 million more children in India will hear the name of Jesus—many for the first time. But we need your prayer support!
As you celebrate Jesus this Christmas season, will you pray for the children of India who don’t know Him yet? For the 2 million we can reach through this match, imagine the joy they’ll experience next December as they celebrate Christmas for the very first time!
We know that your prayers move the Holy Spirit, and that’s why I’m inviting you to join me in praying these specific prayers over our matching challenge:
- Pray that friends of Mission India would respond generously, helping us reach 2 million more children with the Gospel.
- Pray for the children in India who will attend 10-Day Bible Clubs as a result of this match. Pray that they would be receptive to the Good News.
- Pray for the families and communities that will be impacted by the 10-Day Bible Clubs launched through gifts given this month.
