Krina’s Whole Life Changed
Krina was born into a poor family, and her early years were marked by many challenges. Over time, these hardships began to affect her psychologically. She began to fight with friends and use harsh words. Eventually, her behavioral issues cast a shadow on her family, straining relationships with others. Filled with worry and disappointment, Krina’s parents raised their voices and struggled to guide her.
Amidst this chaotic time, Krina met the local Children’s Bible Club leader, Susita, who invited her to join the Bible Club.
After enrolling, Krina found solace in the teachings of Jesus, shared by Susita in the Bible Club. Throughout the year-long program, Susita held regular Bible studies, taught Krina how to pray, and served as a spiritual mentor. Eventually, Krina received Jesus as her Savior!
But Susita wasn’t just focused on Krina’s spiritual development; she cared about her holistic development, too. Susita provided invaluable support to Krina in her academics by helping her with homework and explaining difficult concepts.
Krina was also encouraged in her friendships. Susita helped to mediate conflicts, facilitate group activities, and engage Krina in community service projects. This all fostered meaningful relationships between Krina and her peers, and it instilled a sense of social responsibility in Krina.
This holistic approach changed Krina in a positive way. She began to understand the impact of her behavior and started to look to Jesus for guidance. Slowly, her demeanor changed as she read the Word of God, prayed fervently, focused on school, and built meaningful friendships. She even started respecting her parents!
Krina’s time attending the Bible Club didn’t come without obstacles. At first, many neighbors were skeptical and opposed her attending the Bible Club. However, as they witnessed such positive change in Krina’s life, their opposition waned.
