Healing Leads to a Family’s Salvation
Salah would have guessed that, at 30 years old, he would just be focused on providing for his wife and children. But instead, he found himself also caring for his eldest sister, Genelia, who was affected by an evil spirit.
Genelia exhibited troubling behavior, such as throwing things out of her house, screaming, and running away. Salah was determined to help his sister and fervently sought his idols in hopes that Genelia would be healed. Unfortunately, Salah’s prayers went unanswered, and Genelia only seemed to get worse.
Salah yearned to find a god who possessed the power to heal his sister. So, when he met Church Planter Airish and was presented with the opportunity to attend a prayer group, Salah jumped at the chance. Just two days later, Salah showed up at the house where the prayer group was held.
During that first gathering, Airish shared God’s Word and emphasized His love for everyone. He also shared about the Lord’s desire to save and heal. Salah was moved by this message and believed in Jesus. He then requested prayer for Genelia.
Airish boldly prayed for Genelia, and by God’s grace, an evil spirit left her body, and she was completely restored!
After witnessing such a profound miracle, Salah, his wife, and Genelia all received Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Unfortunately, upon hearing of Salah’s new faith, some people in the village started opposing him. Thankfully, this hasn’t stopped Salah from praising God!
