Arumoy Experiences Healing and Salvation
Arumoy grew up in a family that followed Catholicism but never truly understood what it meant to put their faith in Jesus. Arumoy frequently consumed alcohol and fought with others. His social life was lacking as people distanced themselves from him.
Things only got worse for Arumoy when his wife, Aroosh, became ill and was diagnosed with severe asthma, keeping her bedridden. Unfortunately, Arumoy was at a loss on how to help Aroosh—and no one else seemed to be able to help, either. Arumoy even borrowed money from a distant relative with high interest rates to cover his wife’s medical expenses.
Despite his efforts, Aroosh’s health showed no signs of improvement and doctors eventually declared her condition as deteriorating. Arumoy and his family felt helpless.
But things turned around when Arumoy met Church Planter Eashav, who friends like you sent to his village. Upon hearing of Aroosh’s illness, Eashav offered prayers and shared that Jesus was the answer to her healing. Eashav told Arumoy the Gospel story and encouraged him to bring Aroosh to church.
At first, Arumoy went to church alone. Over time, the pastor of the church earnestly prayed for Aroosh, and eventually, Arumoy noticed a change in his wife’s health. The next week, he brought Aroosh to church, and the pastor laid hands on her and prayed for her healing. By the power of the Holy Spirit, Aroosh was miraculously healed—leading Arumoy and Aroosh to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior!
Now, the couple regularly attends church and testifies of the miracle Jesus performed in their lives.
