Dear Friends,
My parents taught me from a very young age that giving is a spiritual act. In fact, they taught me that God should be brought into every conversation around money! To give you an example, my dad worked in sales, and he and my mom would pray over his work and the sales he made. As I observed this, I learned that my dad’s work was ultimately in God’s power.
I find praying around financial topics to be just as important today. If we believe that giving is a spiritual act, yet we’re not praying about it, then I would wonder if we truly understand the spiritual nature of generosity.
That’s why I want to invite you to join me in praying over a new matching challenge today. From March 1 through April 30, 2023, friends of Mission India are matching every dollar given toward 10-Day Children’s Bible Clubs, up to $400,000.
Here’s what I find significant in terms of our prayers around this match: The God who will inspire people to give is the same God who will prompt kids in India to attend Bible Clubs made possible through the dollars given. He is at work every step of the way—every aspect of this matching challenge glorifies Him!
With this in mind, will you join me in these prayers?
Pray that donations made toward this match are made joyfully and out of the Holy Spirit’s conviction.
Pray that God allows us to meet our goal of raising $350,000, with every dollar proclaiming Jesus’ love to two children.
Pray that God does even more than we could ask or imagine through this challenge.
