There’s Nothing Like a Parent’s Love!
How do you respond when your child asks for help? Whether it’s the repeating refrain of a starry-eyed toddler or the reserved request of a teen, parents are drawn to meet the needs of their children.
Jesus talks about this concept in Matthew 7:11 when he says, “If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!” What Jesus is saying is this—your good parenting doesn’t even compare to how God watches over His kids.
I can’t imagine anyone loving my kids more than I do.
Jesus says that God will respond to us, just like a Good Father should. Imagine this: your child comes home from school with a note from the teacher. The teacher says your child is struggling and needs extra support to pass the class. How would you step in to support them?
Would you put in more hours helping with homework? Would you schedule a meeting with their teacher? Would you hire a tutor? Whatever it is, one thing is certain—you would do something.
You bet I would!
That’s exactly how parents in India feel about their children. They want to support their children, but there are often no resources at their disposal to do so. That’s why it’s so important to remember that we are all made in God’s image, and our Good Father often cares for us by calling others to help.
One of the best ways you can help parents in India care for their children is by making providing entry to a Children’s Bible Club! When children attend a Bible Club, they not only receive help with schoolwork and personal growth; they also hear about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And nothing helps a child flourish more than receiving the love of a Good Father.
When children experience God’s love through a Children’s Bible Club, it changes everything. One parent of a Bible Club member said this, “We did not know much about Jesus, but Maathar’s new behavior made us think about the true and living God as He changed his life.”

- Pray for ways you can partner with God to provide for His children.
