Monsoon Relief Kits: Your Gift of Hope
In August and September 2025, record-breaking rainfall caused crisis-level flooding in the southeast and northwest parts of India. Our partners have communicated that in a least 6 states, they have seen record-breaking rains, and the infrastructure in place to handle flooding has been overrun. In one area in northeast India, 300,000 acres of land, bridges, and roads have been damaged, and 29 lives have been lost. In another area, 500 families have been evacuated, and transportation is solely available by boat.
Among those affected are a number of Mission India programs. An Adult Literacy Class in southeast India was overwhelmed with floodwater, and the students and their families are currently struggling to have even one meal per day. In nearby villages, two Year-Long Children’s Bible Clubs have been put on hold because many of the children’s houses have been severely damaged or destroyed.
With your support, we can provide relief to families affected in these areas. Our Relief Kits include essentials like dry rations, drinking water, blankets, and hygiene items. They also include basic medical supplies and clothing—meeting one family’s needs through a gift of $55.
While these kits meet urgent, obvious needs, they also open doors for our partners to meet deeper spiritual needs. Every kit that we give away is a testimony to the recipient that Jesus is God, and that He cares about their needs.
