Inspired to Pray
Gus and Jean had a friend named John DeVries who was constantly talking about the incredible impact of Children’s Bible Clubs in India. As the Founder of Mission India, John’s enthusiasm was contagious! As Gus said, “John inspired us to pray.”
Today, the couple continues learning about India by attending Mission India’s Banquet of Praise in Michigan each year and by listening to Todd VanEk, President & CEO. With every story they hear, Gus and Jean’s enthusiasm for reaching India’s children with the Gospel grows.
Gus says, “We feel privileged to be part of reaching the children.” He notes that they are “the poorest children of the world [yet] have enthusiasm for the Lord.”
