Dear Prayer Warriors,
It is May and the wonder of spring. It all starts with God’s creation. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen (Romans 1:20). Watch God’s display this spring. See the birds and flowers. Look at the green grass and blossoming trees.
A song, based on Psalm 104, which we seldom sing, is a praise of His creation. Verses 7 and 1 go like this: The trees which the Lord has planted are fed, and over the earth their branches are spread; they keep in their shelter the birds of the air; the life of each creature the Lord makes his care. Your Spirit, O Lord, makes life to abound; the earth is renewed and fruitful the ground; to God ascribe glory and wisdom and might, let God in his creatures forever delight (Ps. Hymnal 206).
And we do praise Him in a special way as the trees and flowers blossom each spring. Let us with our prayer ascribe to Him glory and wisdom and might.
May is the hottest month of the year in much of India and it is the month in which many of the Indian churches hold 10-Day Bible Clubs. Mission India provides the teacher training and the courses for Bible study. Special, easy-to-remember Gospel songs are made up and sent out in each language area.
Let’s pray for this massive undertaking which begins this month. Pray that the right language material and action song recordings will reach the right place at the right time. Pray that each child has eyes opened to see the love of God as shown in the beauty of creation and salvation.
Until India is transformed,
